Our Story

How two paths became one

A few of the chapters that brought us here.

How we met

Chapter One

How we met

It started over sushi and conversation that didn't want to end, lunch at a cozy Japanese spot that neither of us was in a hurry to leave. From there, we wandered into an arcade on a whim, and Arohi did something she had never managed in her entire life: she won a toy from the claw machine. (We still don't know if it was skill or the universe rigging things in our favor.) We ended the day at a shooting range, of all places, shooting rifles and pistols neither of us knew how to hold properly. Sushi, stuffed toys, and gunfire: not your average first date, but somehow it was exactly right.

The proposal

Chapter Two

The Proposal

Five days of diving in the Maldives had already given us more magic than most people see in a lifetime: a whale shark gliding past on one dive, over 50 manta rays swirling together on another. By the time we checked into our island resort to relax and rejuvenate, we were sun-soaked and salt-crusted. Little did Arohi know, the highlight of the trip was still ahead. On a private beach with white sand, sapphire water, and a sky beginning its slow slide into sunset, Karan got down on one knee with a ring and everything he felt about the girl who had once out-clawed a claw machine. She said yes, and even the ocean had nothing on that moment.

Us today

Chapter Three

To Jaipur

The story brings us to Rajasthan, land of forts and legends, where kings once built palaces not just to live in, but to be remembered by. We didn't want a wedding, we wanted a chapter, one written in marble corridors, courtyards lit by a thousand lamps, and skies that have watched centuries of love stories unfold. A palace felt right, not for the grandeur alone, but because some moments deserve a setting as timeless as the promise being made. But even the most beautiful palace is just a building without the people who make it feel like home. That's where you come in, dancing, laughing, and celebrating with us. So come to Jaipur, and let's write this chapter together.

The Venue

The Raj Palace, Jaipur

Built in 1727 and one of the first palaces of the city, restored to its original grandeur - chandeliered halls, painted frescoes, jali-carved courtyards. Every ceremony, every dinner and every night of your stay unfolds within its walls.
